Anzu Appoints Niv Nissenson as CFO to Continue Global Expansion

OMNIQ Corp’s Niv Nissenson joins Anzu to lead its finance team

December 4, 2023 — Anzu, the most advanced intrinsic in-game advertising solution, has announced the appointment of Niv Nissenson as its new CFO.

Nissenson, an experienced CFO specializing in fundraising, ERP implementation, public companies, M&As, and financial analysis, joins Anzu from AI and IoT-based solutions provider OMNIQ (NASDAQ: OMQS), which boasts over $100M in sales. With over 14 years of CFO experience in Israel and the United States across multiple industries, Nissenson brings a wealth of knowledge to Anzu as the company continues to expand.

On the new appointment, Anzu’s Co-Founder and CEO, Itamar Benedy, said: “I’m excited at the skills, knowledge, and learnings Niv will bring to our team, as well as his dedication to the company’s expansion, growth, and enhanced delivery. When we announced the closure of our most recent funding round earlier this year, we pledged to invest in building out our global leadership team. Niv joins as Anzu’s CFO based out of Israel following the hire of our EVP Global Sales Nerissa MacDonald, who joined Anzu from Meta in May and leads our global sales team from London.”

On the new role, Nissenson said, “I’m excited to join Anzu as it continues its growth and position as a transformational force in the in-game advertising space. The impressive technology Anzu developed is coupled with an equally ambitious and talented team. Together, we will put in place the infrastructure needed for Anzu to continue scaling up.”

Nissenson joins Anzu at the end of an exciting year, having closed its Series B funding round, raising $48M from giants including Emmis Corporation, PayPal Ventures, NBCUniversal, and Bandai Namco Entertainment 021 Fund. The United States Patent and Trademark Office also granted the company a patent for its innovative ad-tracking technology, with several more patents pending approval. Anzu also released the results of a two-year study into attention in gaming, with research experts Lumen, to help advertisers understand the impact intrinsic in-game ads can have on audiences.
