We are looking for a GTM Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the internal systems that power Anzu’s advertising operations. This role sits at the intersection of sales, ad operations, data, and automation, ensuring that our teams can efficiently manage direct advertiser and publisher deals from pipeline to billing.
You will own and evolve the company’s business applications stack, including HubSpot CRM, Zapier automations, AI agents, and BigQuery data infrastructure- building workflows that automate processes, connect systems, and generate actionable insights for both internal teams and clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining CRM architecture, automation, data pipelines, and AI-powered workflows to drive operational excellence.
ABOUT US
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
CRM Ownership (HubSpot):- Own and optimize HubSpot CRM to support the full lifecycle of direct advertising deals
- Configure deal pipelines, properties, and automations tailored to advertising operations
- Design systems and workflows that enable smooth onboarding of advertising deals, from planning to execution and billing
- Ensure deals move seamlessly from HubSpot to campaign execution systems with minimal manual intervention
- Reduce operational friction and eliminate common errors in deal setup and campaign execution
Automation & System Integrations: - Build and maintain integrations using Zapier and APIs to connect CRM, campaign systems, reporting tools, and internal platforms
- Automate operational workflows to reduce manual tasks across Sales, Ad-Ops, and reporting teams
- Identify bottlenecks and replace manual steps with reliable automated processes
AI-Powered Operational Tools: - Implement AI agents that assist with deal validation, data completeness, and campaign setup guidance
- Build automated report generation and operational insight tools for the Sales team
- Continuously explore opportunities to use AI to reduce operational overhead and improve decision-making
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Experience:- 2+ years managing business applications (CRM, automation platforms, data tools)
- 2+ years in Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar cross-functional role
- 2+ years of scripting and API implementation experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- 2+ years working with SQL or data modeling
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM administration and configuration
- Strong understanding of CRM data structures, integrations, and APIs
- Experience building automation workflows with Zapier or similar platforms (Make, n8n, Workato)
- Experience designing cross-system automations and integrations
Mindset & Soft Skills:
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate GTM processes into clear, automated systems
- Excellent problem-solving and process optimization skills
- Strong communication skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-directed and comfortable owning systems end-to-end
Nice to Have:
- Experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or media operations
- Familiarity with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
- Experience building or deploying AI agents / LLM-powered workflows
- Background in Sales or Ad operations
